Tranny drain plug

I want to add a drain plug into my 700 R4 transmission oil pan. Is there any specific area that I need to avoid placing the drain plug? I was thinking of going with a B & M drain plug kit.

I think the B&M kit has directions with iton where to put the plug. And/or, you could just drop the pan and make your decision with the pan in your hand while you look at the internals from underneath to make sure you are not "near" something...
