tranny trouble
I have 3.1l camaro (700r4). i noticed that when Im about to go from 2nd to 3rd gear at WOT the rpm goes very high and it does not shift until I depress the throttle until its 2/3 of the way down. how can I solve this problem

It sounds like the 3-4 clutches are slipping and taking a while to engage. You either have a rolled/blown seal, or the clutches themselves are about shot, either way it would require removal of the trans.
When it gets to a point that it just slips all the time, then you know they are burnt up.
