HELP:T-56 installed now battery is draining!

I just installed my transsmision and now my battery is draining very fast. I had a B&M megashifter and the wires that went to the sensors so it has to be in neutral and park to start i have to touch one of them to a postivtive source with the ignition turned to on position to start the car. I think some wires are grounding and makeing the battery drain. does anyone have anyother suggestions???
I need help asap.

As we all know, fast is a relative term. How 'fast' is the battery, say losing the ability to crank the engine etc.?

Well I got a jump from a friend. it charged to almost 13 and I got about 2 miles before the engine sputtered to a stop.

I see. Assuming your battery isn't defective, it sounds like an extremely fast drain. It would seem to me, wherever that energy is going, it would show some symptoms, like quite a bit of heat capable of causing smoke or fire.

Are the lights in your console, or any area that may have been disturbed while you were swapping, in order? 1 small lightbulb left on and hidden somwhere can drain a good battery in a day or two.

It seems to me you may have some other problem contributing to the battery drain.
