is my tranny shot?
i just got a 1987 z28, that somebody has converted to an edlbrock carb and intake setup, instead of the tpi it is suppost to have. anyway it has a 350, and 700r4, my problem is when i put the car in reverse it acts like its in neutrol, so i give it a little gas, and it "grabbs" a little, but just enough to move, so basicly its slipping. And when your cruising along at 45mph, it slipps between 3rd, and 4th, like it cant make up its mind. But when you take off it doesnt slip at all, and it shifts fine too, so is something out of adjustment, or is the tranny toast? Thanks for any input.

Re: is my tranny shot?
the stock 700R4 is a highly reliable and durable transmission for the car ( OD is nice ) or a th 350 ( if you dont want OD or a 4th gear for that matter ) or you could always convert to a manual
