I have a 3.23 non posi rear in my camaro. normally when i burn out only the one wheel spins. So today i take it through a water box (i.e-puddle in the road) and i proceed to power brake. and low and behold the whole rear end swings sideways and i burn rubber about fifty feet down the road. i come back to see the damage on the road and there are TWO nice thick black rubber marks running down the road. whats goin on here????

Ps- the road was dry, there was a just a puddle in one spot.

On very poor traction surfaces like grass, water, dirt, an open differential will spin both tires. Once the tires start spinning, it takes very little effort to keep them spinning, thats why when you hit the dry pavement, they kept going. If you try it again on totally dry pavement, it will only spin one.
