Rock Crusher
Rock Crusher
does anyone have any idea how hard it would be to run a rock crusher with the torque arm. also what would have to be done as far as bellhousing, transmission mounts, etc...?

I'm really, really, really sorry to say this, but, the only way to use it would require alot of modifying, and complications.
Just get a WC T-5. Alot easier.

Get a Spohn Torque arm cause it mounts to a new crossmember instead of the tranny. Make sure you have all the dimensions for him but it should be the same as an '82 4-speed.
Now the next problem is manual linkage since the only thirdgens to have that were '82s and '83s.
If you have the opportunity to look at an '82 with a 4-speed you should notice that the shifter is mounted to a bracket that attatches on the passenger side of the tranny to get the shifter and it's linkage away from the torque arm. Nothing like this is available for the M-22 to my knowledge. Depending on what the car is to be used for, it is probably not worth the effort.
I may use my M-22 one day in a Big Block drag car situation but certainly not for a street toy.
Hope this helps
