A really good flywheel question

I purchased a new standard shift flywheel for my 408 ci small block. It is externally balanced, I purchased it for a 400 small block and I can easily see the weight on it but the problem I have is the flywheel dowel pin is drilled in three different position it will fit on my crank 3 different ways . How can I tell which way to install it?

just a WAG, but would it balance at any of the 3 locations? i'd call the fly wheel maker if i could, or where i bought it at.
