To all those who have swapped a T-5 into their car, some general questions....
1) The hole in the tunnel where the auto shift cable went, what did you use to seal it? I'm thinking there must be a rubber plug available somewhere?
2) The park lockout cable, did you just leave it there under the console, or remove it from the ignition cylinder and column, etc? It's looks like it could just stay there......
3) To remove the support plate that holds the auto shifter and e-brake handle, what method did you use? Drill the spot welds, or use an air chisel? I'm just wondering how the different methods used worked out for you guys. I realize I need to leave the e-brake portion there.
Thanks!

1. I just left it open. there is a big a$$ hole under there for the shifter to go through..one more little one doesn't make a difference to me. Actually I run wires through it now.
2. I removed mine while I was under there, but I imagine you could just leave it there.
3. You cut out most of that bracket when you cut the hole for the shifter, I didn't do any additional cutting. I used a sawzall.

1 - duct tape
2 - left it there ( the car can more easily be switched back to an automatic )
3 - cut the front part off ( that made it a pain to switch back to the automatic)
