Installed a tranny temp sensor... how hot is too hot?
Granted it is winter and I have yet to really get up to operating temps, let alone, anything close to overheating. What kind of temps can I expect when summer arrives?
I have a cooler and the sensor is mounted just before it. Should it come close to the coolent temps? The highest it's gotten so far is about 150F...

Typical operating temps are similar to coolant, 180-210°. It starts being a problem at 240° or so.

Check out Pro-Built's info http://www.pro-built.net/products/coolers.html
If you stay under 185 you will be ok.
