Water in Trans?
Water in Trans?
Recently my car has been in storage when i checked fluids all checked out except for the trans fluid. It looks milky/whiteish some 1 told me its water another person told me that it could be antifreze. Has any one had this problem before? I dont know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

Sounds to me like the tranny cooler part of your radiator is leaking. That's the only way I know of for water/antifreeze to get in the tranny fluid, other than intentionally dumping it in there...

check your antifreeze and see what it looks like, if its messed up to looks like your tranny cooler went south.

Whatever it is, find out and fix it, then change your fluid, twice!!!
If it is antifreeze, it will eat your clutches for lunch.
If it is water, the steel will rust, and the glue in the gaskets will start to seperate.

Update on the problem I have recently found out that there is no trans oil in the radiator. Now what do i do? Today i will drain and flush the trans along with replacing it with new fluid. Do you thik this will work?

You could always take you car to Midas and have them completely flush it. It cost about $100.00 to flush and condition your tranny oil. No, they do not remove the tranny pan, they disconnect your coolant lines from your tranny and have the car run for about 30 minutes. May want to call them and get the specifics. Hope this helps...
