I've had it for 3 years now, and love it.

I installed mine; it took a few hours. That was 4 years ago, and I'm still loving the shifter!

Burnoutrpm, you can do it on a Formula, but there's one catch. B&M says it "doesn't fit" because it's not a direct bolt-in to the console! However, it will connect up, wire up, and work fine.

Have you ever seen an early Firebird or a Camaro's center console? They're hard plastic, square, and the "shift plate" is held on with 4 star-screws. The later model Firebirds (and Formulas!) have a console with vinyl on the sides, and a one-piece "top".

To put my Megashifter's shift plate onto my "new-style" console plate, I used a cutting tip on a soldering iron to cut the center of the console cover out. The B&M plate "just fits" between the top of my power window switches, and the bottom of the ashtray latch.

Make sure you leave enough "console top" in the edges to grip the shift plate's mounting screws! You'll have to carefully drill holes for these, and don't overtighten the screws.

Hope this helps... Oh, by the way, it looks really "factory" in the console- nice & clean.
