Engine: 355 T.P.I.
Transmission: t56
Axle/Gears: gm 10 bolt, 3.90 gears
Hatch release on t56 swap

how do you wire the switch for the hatch release? it doesn't work without the switch on the automatic shifter. what do i do?

I'd say cut out the switch, splice the wires together. Then it will work all the time. Or one could wire it into the parking brake if you wanted a functional switch.

take the brown(I think, been a while) wire from the hatch switch. Wire it in a three way connection with the parking brake switch and the hatch release will only work when the park brake is engaged jsut as it would have been from the factory.
