not a thirdgen, but...
My girlfriend has a 93 Acura Integra automatic, and it revs real high when it changes gears. Sometimes Reverse takes a while to kick in, and it idles extremely hard sometimes when in drive. Anyone have ANY ideas?

It's an Acura... isn't s'posed to sound like that? :P
It sounds like its run out of tranny fluid. If its not that then its on its way out... time for her to get a 3rd gen.

Car: '87 IROC
Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: 700-R4
Clutches are slipping due to either being low on tranny fluid, or if that's not the case, stick a fork in it - it's done. If she drove it for any legnth of time low on fluid, unfortunately, it's sayonara!
