Neutral safety switch?

I installed a megashifter and i love it, unfortunately, there is a electronic gear selector that was connected to the stock shifter. Its pretty much a plastic tab that slides on a plate which tells the computer what gear the car is in. howin the heck do I

a: rewire it
b: connect it to megashifter
or

c: get rid of the damn thing so i can it'll quit flopping around on the passenger side floorboard.

thx!

Re: Neutral safety switch?

there would be 6 wires on the switch.

the big purple and yellow wires are the neutral safty.
the others are back up lights, and a hatch safety switch. I dont remember which colors are which. They tell the computer nothing.
