Grinding gears when downshifting, whats wrong?

Every time that im on the freeway going lets say 65 on fifth gear and i want to downshift for acceleration, i always grind the gears. Especially when going from 5th to 4th. Once in a while it will happen from 4th to 3rd. Is something wrong with my T5 or am i doing something wrong?

I would guess you have a worn 4th gear synchro. I have no idea why that one of all the synchros. This happens every time you down shift? What about the 3-4 upshift? Anyway I would guess that you need a new 4th gear blocker ring. I would like to hear what everyone else thinks though.

maybe you get kinda "excited" and dont push the clutch in all the way and grind 'em that way. or something may have come out of alignment on or in the tranny thats my opinion
