Grinding into reverse
I just completed my 5 speed swap and now the tranny is grinding into reverse. I tried shifting into 5 before going into reverse but it will still grind a little bit but not as bad. Could the clutch possibly need to be bled more, or is it something internal?

Re: Grinding into reverse
I'm unsure of what's best, but I always go into first before trying reverse. If going into a foward gear beforehand doesn't get the desired result, I'd say internal.

Re: Grinding into reverse
id say someone that had that tranny before had the bad habit of not being at a complete stop before engaging reverse.
