Ford 9' inch swap questions

I have a ford 9 inch that i am going to put in to an 85 camaro the ford 9 inch from outside to outside measeures 64 inches what is the length of a stock camaro rear end?

Outside to outside? You mean the housing? Third gens are about 62 inches.

it measures 64 inches from the out side of each brake drum to brake drum so how long
are stock camaro rear ends from the outside of each brake drum

62.25 I believe is exact from wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface.

sounds like you're going to be doing a lot of cutting and welding if the ford rear wasn't made for a thirdgen. wish i could be doing it, something i've always wanted to do, but never had the chance, or a reason to.
