Tranny Dipstick tube

It is not completely in and stated to leak fluid when I dropped the tranny last night. How can I get it all the way in?

I had similar problem with a th-350. It was leaking from around the dipstick tube. Whoever had put the tranny in did not bolt the tube to the engine like it is supposed to be, so it wouldn't make a seal with the tranny.

Also... you may have bent it taking it out. make sure it is bolted to case first. If you can not make it line up...it is probably bent, and it is just a lot easy to replace it....less than $20 at the dealer.
