I am putting In my 350 and I want to put the motor and the t56 at the same time. I know the t56 is a larger transmission. Has anybody swapped in a motor and T56 at the same time will it work?

 

i've done sbc and auto trans, th350s. i'd think it'd work for you with the manual. but not sure.

I did both , but not at the same time. I don't see why it would make a difference if you did them together. The T56 is very close to the same size as the 700 trans. You won't have to change driveshaft lenth unless you use an aftermaket version T56. Just make sure you have all your parts before you start.

 

You shouldn't have any problems. The engine will fall in place and the trans nearly will. The aftermarket supports the t-56 swap very well.
