Aluminum driveshaft - whats it really worth?
I just swapped in an LS1 DS into my Formula and wondered if anyone had documented an improvement (dyno or ET, no butt-meters). It was noticeably lighter abd was a simple bolt in , but my butt-meter registered nothing.

I have seen a chassis dyno sheet posted with this mod showing approx 10hp to the rear gain.
Don't ask me for the link cuz it's been a while ( I think it was an LS1 car). And I have no idea how valid or accurate the test was. I have never tested this myself though I do run aluminum driveshafts.

It's not a 3rdgen, but it is the same driveshaft...
