sick of all these problems
I am really getting frustrated with my car. My car will shift at about 3200 rpms at WOT. I have adjusted the TV cable the way the article tells me. Also, between shifts, it hesitates and kind of moans before the next shift. The tranny was rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago by Aamco, so I don't think it is internal parts (maybe I could be wrong, though).
Please help!!!
My car is getting annoying to drive. BTW I can shift my car manually and does fine.
Thanks

The only problem is that he is actually my ex girlfriend's dad that installed it and his buddy (who has worked at Aamco for 30 years) who rebuilt it. He did it at a good price.
Any one else have some help??

Don't trust that article and take it to a tranny shop and have them adjust the cable for you!! My friend tried adjusting his by the article and it didn't work on his car either!!

You mean this article? https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/detent.shtml That article has the exact textbook way to re-adjust the TV cable. It says in a picture and paragraph what we always tried to explain with a 1000 words on here.
If the TV cable's adjusted fine, then something else is wrong. It's possible, I guess, that your TV cable itself is sticking. I agree, take it back to Aamoco, or bring it somewhere else and see what they say.

Swallow your pride, screw up your courage, take it back and talk to them. Might be simple, could be something that didn't get put back together quite right. They're big boys, they can take it.
