T-5 making funny noise while in gear past 3000RPMS
Only happens when the car is at operating temperature and the tranny is warmed up enough. The clutch is brand new by the way and the tranny is the stock one.
I rev it past 3 k when in gear and the shifter handle rattles like crazy and the car makes this grinding type noise. It keeps making the noise until I put the car in neutral. And if I rev it past 3k in neutral it doenst make the noise. Could it be the synchros? Also, sometimes when i shift into 2nd it grinds.

Is it the stock shifter? Somtimes aftermarket ones will amplify any small vibrations that the stock one wont, because of there more solid design, I have seen this in a couple of cars, Otherwise I dont know..Kevin
