Should my limited slip/posi be this tight?
I just picked up a 9 bolt PBR rear today. Looks like Its got 2.77 gears
. oh well. Any how. My friend and I were trying to spin the the axles different directions from each other. We couldn't get it to happen. Its almost like there is a spool in there. Its definatly not though. What are your thoughts on this.
Thanks

Ok then. I was thinking that it wouldn't kick in to posi untill one side made a bunch of revolutions more than the other.
Thanks

its not something that really kicks in, since its always active. another way to check is to do a burnout and if both wheels spin you got a positraction rear end
Re: Should my limited slip/posi be this tight?
That is true with the 10 bolt Governor Lock, but the 9 bolt has a different differential in it aht is locked all the time. It will slip when you turn a corner, but it should be locked any other time.
