Kickdown cable????
Kickdown cable????
Ok I installed a 700r4 out of a car with 30,000 actual miles the car was wrecked so I bought the tranny when mine died well the tranny does fine dont slip or nothing but I dont know if I may have strectched the kickdown cable or something cause I cant quite get the shifting right it dont want to shift in 1 and 2 gear until it gets to high RPMs or when it hits the high RPMs if you let of the gas it will shift then in over drive it bogs way down before shifting back down to 3rd gear I have tried the adjusting of the cable and I have put probably 4,000 miles on it in this condtion like I said never has slipped the first time so I really think that it is in this cable although I am no expert That is why I am asking.
Thanks for any help

What kind of car is it out of? Was it fuel-injected and your car is carbed? Different TV springs were used for those applications which might cause your problem.
