Question about the ES Trans mount

I just got the ES Trans mount and i was wondering if that extra plate it came with is needed for proper install. I have heard that it is a little taller and it may cause some vibrations. From the design that bottom plate does not seem necassary. Please let me know if i need it or not.

Thanks,
Steve

If I remember correctly that plate is necessary for some reason. I also have the ES mount after my stock rubber mount broke on me after a launch at the track, and I have experienced no bad vibes from that mount that I'm aware of.

On most of these cars it's not necessary... wasn't on mine
