Centerforce or mcleod?
Centerforce or mcleod?
my clutch is slipping really bad, i can't hit the gas more than half way without the rpm's goin sky high and the car in a stand still...85 trans am basically stock, i want a heavy duty aggressive clutch that i can tear as$ and rip up some imports with. a lot of people on here talk about centerforce and mcleod, i need some idea of what to get...thanks a lot!
center force seems to be the prefered part from what i see on here and in sigs.

They're both good quality pieces, you won't be disappointed with either one. IMHO the Centerforce Dual Friction is easier to drive but doesn't sacrifice hookup for its smooth operation. It's the easiest clutch to drive in bumper-to-bumper traffic I've ever had, but will hook up like a piece of metal when called on to do so.

Couldn't find a Mac with 24 spline disc. Only one I could find was Centerforce. 5-speeds are 24 spline.
