Corvette servo

I am getting ready to get my tranny rebuilt. It is going to be rebuilt to factory specs and I was wondering if I should go ahead and have them put the corvette servo in there. Also what exactly does the vette servo do?

Axle/Gears: 3.27 9 bolt
it firms up your shift points so it will shift alittle harder.some thing like a shift kit would.if you haven't ordered it yet check out these guys
