T/V Questions

Should there be slack in the line where it is connected to the carb when it is at idle?

1983Z28 350w/ edelbrock performer RPM power package with 64cc aluminum heads, dynomax shorty headers, 700R-4 with shift kit, 750cfm carb, edelbrock 3" exhaust system, ASCD SS hood, 16" IROC rims.

future mods:
completely done over suspension, black paint with flames, Hurst shifter, dakota digital gauge package, procharger supercharger.

How should it be? Should it be just tensing? I mean no slack or should it be all the way out when it is at WOT?

If you follow the adjustment procedure and there is still slack in the cable then either the bracket is too far forward or the throttle arm is too long.
