M4 Question?

I was wondering how much torque and horsepower a 1982 4 speed manual transmission out of a camaro could take? Could it take more than a 5 speed transmission of the later years? Thanks.

Any ideas to the above question? Also, would the stock flywheel from an 82 four speed manual work with all small blocks such as a 307, 327 or 350?
