Using a two peice seal flexplate on a one piece motor?

I can get a good flexplate cheap from a friend for a two piece seal engine, but mine is a one piece. Can I use it?

No. The bolt pattern is different and his won't have the proper counter weight.

unless his is a 400 flywheel, they're both internally balanced. The one-piece rear seal crank does not have a conter-weighted flange, thus they put a weight on the flywheel. They are still considered an internally balanced engine.
