Ever break a B/W 9-bolt?

Heard somewhere long ago, that when G.M.was durability
testing the 9-bolt back in '84,they could not break one-
wondering what usually breaks on these?-i have seen the
posi cones damaged by people spinning the tires at high
speed on ice or when stuck in snow.

If they couldn't break it, it's only because they didn't try hard enough.
