ok i soposly read and heard bout this, is it true that when u take out the pin in the rear u have instant posi? if so has n e 1 tried this and is there n e bad things bout it?

I garuntee that if you try that, you will never do it again.

First of all, that "myth" is false. There is alot more to making a "limited slip" than just removing a part. It helps to know how one works.

Second, that pins purpose is to keep the axles pushed outward, so the C-clips don't become unseated. Its the C-clips that keep the axles in the rearend. Have a C-clip come out while driving, and you will cry "uncle".
