Muncie 4-speed GOOD or BAD??

Heres the tranny I decided to put in:
Muncie 4-speed M-22 26-spline(NOT a rock crusher, but still a muncie) New Syncros, Bearings, rings, etc... almost everything replaced except the Cluster, Since it looked O.K. and had that Real low first gear.
and my Trannys going to cost me about... $1200.00 after labor.

Sound good?

King, yeah sounds good. Let me know what your doing for the torque arm and a shifter. I have a Muncie just sitting because i did'nt want to build my own mounting bracket and linkage. Torque arm to boot. It has a competition plus with console bracket in it now and i refuse to loose that shifter. Thats the one reason i'll never have a top loader. When i drive a toploader i feel like i'm gonna rip it out of the transmission.

Anyway let me know. Years ago i called Hurst and asked them if they were coming out with an installation kit for a Muncie in a third gen (this was like 1988) and they said wait a few years and we'll have something. I don't know if they were blowing smoke up my @ss or what. I went with a T-10 and never checked back. Give'm a try.
