3.73 0r 3.42?

I currently have 3.23s in my 91 Z28 right now and was wondering which would give me a better perfomance gain 3.73s or 3.42s?

If you want acceleration, the 3.73s would be better. Top speed and fuel economy, go for the 3.42s.

why would you change to 3.42.. its not that much of a gap.. if you were to change, go with the 3.73s that is why our cars have overdrive!

and for what you will pay for gears and install! why just make such a small jump.
