need help picking new studs for new axles

I need to pick out new wheel studs for my axles but I cant figure out which knurl to get. I got superior axles with the 7/16 press in or 1/2 screw in stud holes. I think all I need is the 7/16 for the street. Knurl sizes come any thing from .468-.580. Since nothing has ever been pressed in these axles I would believe I would need the smallest dia. ? Here is a list of studs im picking from. Your help is apperciated.

You need to measure the hole size and then go to the auto parts store and see what knurl size fits that hole. They will have a book that will tell you which one fits the hole. The knurl will be larger than the hole.

Why didn't you go back with the metric studs?

Because they didnt offer the axles in metric that are hevy duty. The better axles are what I ordered.

The metric size is 12mm. That's almost the same as 7/16. There should be a knurled end that will fit the hole for both sizes. As mentioned above, the size of the knurl you need depends on the hole size.

Go with the 1/2" screw in studs. They're easier to install.

I was thinking about them but im trying to figure out if they would work with the rims I have. Cause I need new lug nuts and the 1/2 size is bigger I thought that they might not work with my rims.

I haven't seen a wheel that wouldn't work with both 7/16 and 1/2 inch studs.
