Need some quick help from someone on the color of the driven speedo gears in a Borg Warner T-5. I put one in last night and the old one had a dark blue gear and the new one has a light purple gear. Both input speedo gears are red and have the same teeth...so those are fine. I just want to know how much (if any) will the other gear throw off my speedo. The dark blue one has 6 teeth, and the light purple one has 8...so my speedo will be reading faster with the light purple one...correct? If so then how much?

You have a 9 tooth red drive gear inside the trans now? For a 3.73 rear end? Wow... I thought the combo was 7 tooth and 21 tooth for 3.73 rear end.
