Hurst Plus Shifter or B&M Ripper Shifter

I am going to get a new shifter soon and I am wondering what some of the differences between these are. I want to make the shifting as easy as possible and I have heard that the B&M is the way to go. I have also heard that the Hurst is a great shifter but that was from my Ford buddy and I am not sure if they are the same or not. I have driven his car before and I really like how it shifts. Well what I am really looking for is which is the best and why one is better than the other. So just fill me in on what you think. All the help is appreciated.

I have the Ripper--I couldn't be happier with it. As far as the 'feel' of the shifters, I suggest that they're all pretty much the same.
