Inconsistant shift quality

Inconsistant shift quality
It feels as though the shift quality of my trans is inconsistant. Sometimes it will shift very hard and other times not so hard. No matter cold or hot. It just doesn't feel the same all the time. Can a low fluid level cause this?

possibility . check that . how many miles does it have on it? is it completely stock?
