82 camaro, 4-speed manual transmission, manual clutch, external shifting rods. Ever since I bolted a 305 to my v-6 4-speed it will stick in gear every now and then. It doesn't matter what gear it is, even reverse. I have to shut the car off and get under it and manually pull on the rod to get it to come out. Then it will work fine for a week or so and then do it again. Seems like the rods just need adjusted, but all of them at once and at the same time? Anybody had this problem? Anybody know how to adjust them? Does anybody think bolting the v-8 to this tranny did anything. Once it comes unstuck it works fine.thanks
