Tranny cooler lines question

Tranny cooler lines question
On the tranny cooler lines that go into the radiator: which is going TO the radiator, and which is RETURN?
I think its:
upper -> RETURN
lower -> TO
but obviously, i'm not sure. I tried feeling the lines, and they both feel hot!
I have a 700R4, 305 TPI (see the signature).
