Here's what I suggest. It worked great for me. Take out your old pedals. I'm assuming you have an automatic now. I got the bolts to start coming off by just using an open wrench. Then I took my 5/8 spark plug socket and even though it wasn't the same exact size it took the bolts off easily since they were loose. If you have the right size deep socket you'll be fine. It just has to be a deep socket. Disconnect the brake booster and pull the assembly out. You shouldn't have to drop the steering column. Everyone thinks you do and they will say it, but you don't have to. Put the new assembly in. Don't worry about drilling the hole for the hydraulics yet. Don't worry about a template. Just put the pedals in. Then just take a dril and use the bracket on the installed pedals as a template. The bracket will act as a guide for the drill. It will then be EXACTLY where you need it. Drill lots of little holes in the center for the master cylinder and pop out the center with a screw driver. You can then clean the edges up with a dremel or something. Bolt in the hydraulics and connect the rods and that's it. Have fun!

When i swapped i my t-5, i already had a whole for the clutch cylinder that was being used by some electrical connector, so i just moved the electrical connector. To get out the bolts I loostened the steering column bolts to get a little more room and then used a socket with a u joint and a bunch of extensions. Not an easy job but it can be dont. Theres a bolt all the way up in the "celing" of the area where the pedals are that is easy to overlook.

Good luck with the swap.
