Qucik question!

Hey guys,
last night going home from work my tranny died. I drive for 2 blocks (normal driving), stop at a stop sign to make a left turn, take off and as I'm turning I heard a noise coming from the tranny. It sounded like something had just sheered off inside the tranny or broke, but it wasn't very loud. It kinda felt like running over small grooves on the street, and it only lasted for about 1 second. Do you guys have any idea what this could be??
I spent $1600 fixing the tranny in the December and this is the second time something goes wrong with it (some booster spring had broken about 20+ days ago)
Thanks, Rick (very frustrated)

HAHAH sorry but I am crying right now and NOT from laughter! I couldn't figure out what was happening with the first one i toasted. It was like running over rough spots in the road like you are saying. It ended up going away if I gentle put my foot on the brake. Turned out to be the TC was chattering and that is why I got the first one rebuilt. Man I have leaned too much about the probs with them! No amount of info will convince me they are good!

I feel like crying too, but I won't.
Automatics suck big time.....wishing I had money to convert to a 4, 5 or 6 speed.
