Shift Improvment?

I just went through the motor and that works kick *** but I feel that the transmission needs a little help now. I stayed with the stock converter but what would you guys recommend for a shift kit? Who makes a fairly easy to install but a dependable kit? Is there any other things I can do to improve overall performance without putting to much money into it. Some of the shifts are a little sloppier than I would like. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Dennis

Use Trans-Go Performance Shift kit along with the Corvette servo, .471 or .500 main boost valve, .296 intermediate/reverse boost valve. This will give you the best results (performance & longevity).

Ditto to what PRO said (plus dding a TruCool cooler). Let me just add that if you changed the induction on the engine then you will likely have to make changes to the TV linkage. You must have the proper geometry for the cable movement to get the desired signal to the tranny.

Thanks for the info guys but where do I go to get the Corvette servo and how hard is it to change because I'll do anything to a motor but auto transmissions make me a little nervous. Dennis

Any Chevy dealer either will have it or can get it. You may find it in stock at a local tranny shop too. It isn't hard except for maybe having to pry the tranny over a bit for clearance.
