Callin all T-56 swappers
I'm just curious..how hard is the swap from a 700r4 to a T-56? also would it bolt up to a GN/TTA turbo 3.8? i'm doing the swap either late this summer or this winter...i'm toying with the idea of a T-56 instead of the 200r4..any info would be great guys!
Thanks

It most definitely will not bolt up to a buick turbo motor. Those use the BOP bellhousing pattern and the T56's use the Chevy pattern. Even if you could get an adapter plate, you'd probably screw the hell out of the clutch geometry, not to mention I don't know if the flywheel will bolt to the crank (probably not).

Turbo and manaul trannies usually do not boost unless you can shift as fast as an auto tranny(some can, MOST can't). The reason i say that is, you loose alof of boost inbetween shifts.
