how well would 4.10's work on a 89 slightly modified 350 tpi with a wc t-5?

useless because theyll burn the tires to easily or cuz ill have to shift too soon

Cuz youll have to shift so soon. Go with 373's if you gonna drive it daily, unless you just like the feeling of driving a tractor on the street!

3.42 is probably the best street/strip gear for a basically stock L98. The L98 doesnt have a long enough powerband to use a gear like a 4.10, it will just run outta steam right away. 3.73 would be ok, but IMO 3.42 would be the best gear. I have 3.42 gears behind my LT1 and T56 and it feels like the best street gear overall. Stock LT1 and stock L98 aren't really all that different on the street. Decent HP, but gobs of torque... use the taller gear to take advantage of the torque.
