Pull the TC cable out (rearward) one notch at a time until you are happy.

First question is did you get YOUR tranny fixed or is it an off the shelf unit? If nor you likely don't have the correct unit. Second, why aren't THEY fixing it?

To adjust the TV Cable skip the book method and do this: Press the D button on the adjuster and loosen the cable setting. Now, have someone floor the gas pedal while you check to see if the throttle plate is open all the way. Usually they are off a little and will wiggle. Do whatever you have to do to get it open solid. Now, with the pedal floored, press the D button and pull the cable back as hard as you can and release the button. You now have the engine, tranny and gas pedal all in sync at WOT. Mark the cable so if for some reason it gets moved you can know where to put it again. The problem with the 'self adjust method' is that it bends things and puts them permanently out of whack. It is also the full TV setting, which is theoretically what the GM method does.

super83Z, LISTEN to what transfixleo is trying to tell you. They should be adddressing this problem of it shifting to early (it is theirs). When you get your transmission back it should not only be fixed (problems that you had should be corrected/solved). In otherwords it should "work better" than it ever has.
Hope This Helps!!!

Yeah I just have a tough schedule and it was sitting there for a week finished before I had the time to get down there to pick it up. I am going to try and make it down there tomorrow. I have the car buried and it shifts at like 4000RPM I want it to shift later thatn that. I mean my 88 stock Bronco at least shifts at like 5000RPM

Good luck.
Some tranny shops make them work, some make them work right!
I had one, that barely got it to work, 75% right.

I found out what the prob was. I had an adjustable bracket from Russell. Well when I would hit the gas the bracket was actually bending in half! Well it broke and the wouldn't go anywhere. I got a solid one from Mr. Gasket and DAMN its like a totally different car now!!!
