TCC question

is this solenoid normally engaged or normally disengaged?I mean is it powered on or powered off?I mean if i took the battery out would it be engaged? I believe it is normally disengaged and powered on, but i'm not sure. This is for the TH200-C tranny.

Re: TCC question

power isn't to the solenoid until told to do so by something-i.e. a computer, toggle switch/ you get the idea.
power is mostly given at cruising speed in high gear for most applications.
