Well After the Indy 500 I'm going over to look at the governor on my friends transmission and hopefully that is the only thing wrong, I really don't feel like bring all my tools over to his house So I was wondering if someone could tell me the majority of the tolls I would need, What commom wrenches and stuff like that. ALso Can you buy this opart from and autoparts store or does it need to be ordered from chevy?

All you really need is a screwdriver to pry off the cover. And a hammer to put it back. It can be easier to lower the trans down though. That requires a spanner (sorry can't remember the size) for the trans mount bolts and probably a jack to support the tranny as you lower it.
