I have a 1982 Z28 with a 305, edlebrock performer intake manifold & carb and a 2.73 rear end.
I want to swap a 200c tranny with a 700r4
I have the shortened drive shaft from an 83z28, I know I need to get the appropriate shifter as well. What else do I need to replace or modify to complete this swap?

You wouldn't happen to have your original driveshaft would you? I need one out of a car originally equipped with the 200c in order to finish my Th350 swap. If you do,drop me a line at MDUNAWAY@twmi.rr.com

Torque arm, crossmember, mount, cooler lines, shifter cable & cable bracket. Not sure if your speedo cable will reach (I used the '86 cable, so couldn't tell you if the '82 is long enough). The shifter mounts slightly different to the tunnel as well, required redrilling and 3-lb persuader reshaping on mine. The ignition lock cable also changed between '82 & '86, I just left that off. You'll need to drill the back two holes in the frame for the crossmember, and get some nuts inside the frame rails for the bolts.

Not completely a bolt-in, but not particularly difficult, either.
