Ballpark price to have WCT5 rebuilt
Alright guys, I have a WC T5 that I bought in good condition, but in need of synchros. From what I've heard, it's not a real hard rebuild with help from the Hanlon video. I was planning on doing this, but quite honestly, between hockey, paintball, MTBing, and everything else I do, I just don't have the time! Ugh. ...I'm considering just paying to have it done.
...anyone have a guess? I called around, and no one will quote it until it's apart so they can see it. ....on one hand, I understand that, but for the price of what I've got in this T5 so far, I'm NOT gonna put more into it than a simple soft rebuild.
*EDIT*
OK, OK, to be fair, I could probably find the time if I wanted to!!!!

if u can find the time to at least remove the tailshaft housing and the top cover, you can check out the internals to make sure the gears are ok. if they aren't then it may be worth it to just get another t-5, because if a gear needs replaced, the cost of that plus the rebuild will be more than what a good used t-5 would cost.

If you were a little closer to where I live, I'd do it for fifty bucks and a case of beer (you provide parts).
